Weekends with Friends!

So, this past weekend, we went to meet beautiful baby Olivia. She's tiny, born at 5 lbs. 9 oz. Andy and Jean are the proud parents and you can see that in the pictures below. Nick's happy that Jenna has another girl to play with as most of her friends are boys (yes, he's nervous already).

Here's Olivia.
Olivia and her proud Papa.
A knowing glance between parents.

Jenna was happy as a clam, playing with Daddy and Andy while Olivia was being fed.

And, Nick holding Olivia, showing her which team to *really* cheer for. (Andy's a Boo Sox fan). Seeing Nick hold Olivia is sweet, serene. This is the man that wouldn't hold a baby before Jenna came along.

And, the weekend before last, we met up with the Dunnings! It was good to see Moriah, Conn and of couse, Kellen. Daddy and Jenna...

Conn and Kellen.

Kellen's happy as can be hanging out in Mommy's arms.

We took some pictures of Kellen for a Valentines card. But before that, Jenna had to get in the shot, too. Jenna's about 2 weeks younger than Kellen.

And, I'll leave you with a family shot.

It's good to meet up with friends. The baby boom is certainly helping!

She bit me

3 times. And, it hurts like you think it would. I'm not happy about it.

On another note, I finally got to meet Echloe after writing back and forth for what seems like eons. We met up at my favorite LYS and each picked out some yarn for a new project. She's going to knit a gorgeous baby blanket for the baby she keeps referring to as a 'he' :p and I picked up some yarn to knit Jenna a sweater since she's going to outgrow the one I knit for her while I was pregnant any minute now. (sniff!)

My knitting obsession is back in full bloom after someone introduced me to Ravelry. This website is amazing and has already taught me so much! (provisional cast on, how to cable without a cabling needle and how to weave in ends while you work) Very exciting stuff. Plus, it allows me to see how others used the same yarn I have *just sitting there* in my stash, so hopefully I can make room for more fun projects.

Photo GTG

So, this past weekend we met up with a bunch of other Moms and kids for a photography get together. Basically, we all grabbed our kids and cameras and met up at a park to take a bunch of pictures. I had a good time and got to finally break out my lensbaby! I've had it since Christmas but never took the time to really play with it. I'm pleasantly surprised with the outcome!

Without further adieu...

Mind you, I didn't post process these at all. I don't often use Photoshop as I'm too lazy to mess with it. So all the blurring is due to the lens! We had a great time!

Awww!

So, we went and got together with some friends today, and a good friend, Kelly, whom I've bragged about before took some beautiful shots of Jenna.

She's launched her new website and business and I'm such a fan! We'll be going to her for many a session in the future! :)

Mom's groups, Play Dates

So, we've been to meet up with plenty of other Mommy's, friends and babies... Here are a few pics!

Here's Alison and Jenna. As you can see, Jenna's making for some fantastic conversation.

Here's Suzanne, Everett and Garret. Little Everett is only 2.5 weeks old in this picture. What brave parents to take him out and about!
And this is Dane! How cute is he? He's 3 weeks old here. Clearly, he was great for conversation, too!

This leads me to the Mom's group: here's all the kiddos:
One more! In color!

And, here's the Mom's with the babes:
